No More Cake

So I just got done watching the inauguration and it went well. I am amazed at how many people were there. I know the estimate was at least a million but it must have been more, which is dope because I know it is freezing out.

What was weird to me was how religious the ceremony was. Does it not count as separation between church and state if the person representing the state is religious? Is that some sort of inaugurational loophole?

The other noteable thing was how relieved George W looked. It must feel good to not have to deal with the relentless scrutiny of the past eight years. At the same time, by next Tuesday he’s going to be so bored of chillin in the woods with his dog and a six of Pabst tallboys. He’s going to be craving the power I’m sure.

An interesting rumour I heard was that GW effectively told Obama to watch his enemies close and his administration closer. I hope that Bush’s post presedential career is just as sparkling as his pre-presedential.

I wonder if this page will get sucked into the world of political blogs now. It might be easier now that I can blog from my iPhone bitches!
